Daily Itinerary

Arrival

Arrive into Maun Airport. You'll be greeted by your lodge company and your charter services, who will transfer you by charter aircraft to Jacana

Day 1 & 2

What makes Jacana special is its authentic Delta experience. This isn't about ticking off the Big Five; it's about immersing yourself in this unique ecosystem and appreciating its subtle beauty and incredible diversity. The guides are passionate about the waterways and really help you understand this complex environment. It's perfect for people who want something a bit different from the typical safari, offering tranquility, natural beauty, and a genuine sense of being part of the Delta rather than just visiting it

Day 3 - 5

Qorokwe sits in a private concession in the southeastern part of the Okavango Delta, right on the border of Moremi Game Reserve. The name translates to something like "the place where the buffalo broke through the bush into the water," which gives you a good sense of what you're in for. The camp overlooks a beautiful lagoon that's fed by the Santantadibe River, and because there's permanent water here year-round, the wildlife viewing is consistently excellent. The surrounding landscape is classic Delta territory – a mix of mopane woodland, palm-dotted islands, seasonal floodplains, and meandering waterways.

Day 6 - 8

Both North and South camps are stunning examples of contemporary safari design. Everything is raised on wooden platforms and connected by elevated walkways, giving you that treehouse perspective while keeping you safe when elephants wander through. Each camp has its own lounge, dining area, and bar with expansive decks jutting out over the floodplains – perfect for sundowners or stargazing around the campfire. The whole aesthetic is light, airy, and modern, using lots of wood and glass to create spaces that feel both luxurious and connected to the landscape. There's a real Scandinavian influence to the design that sets it apart from more traditional safari camps.

Day 9

Today your safari ends and you exit by light aircraft to Maun in time for your international departures or onwards travel.
