Detailed Description

A compliment to our Bush Willow Tour, we revisit Camp Moremi and add the newly built Camp Okavango and finish in the heart of Chobe with Chobe Game Lodge

The Moremi Game Reserve is your first destination right in the heart of the Okavango Delta. This area is renowned for its abundant wildlife and beautiful scenery.

You move on to an area north of the Moremi Game Reserve to visit a camp purely based around water activities. Camp Okavango is a perfect spot to view the picture postcard area of Delta waterways and floodplains.

Lastly to Chobe Game Lodge, which is the only lodge actually inside the park boundaries of the Chobe River area.

Daily Itinerary

Arrival

Arrive into Maun Airport. You'll be greeted by your charter aircraft company and escorted to your flight into Camp Moremi

Day 1 - 2

What makes Camp Moremi special is the combination of water and land-based activities. You can head out on traditional game drives to spot lions, leopards, and elephants, then switch to mokoro canoes for a completely different perspective gliding through the channels. The guides are knowledgeable and passionate, and the whole experience feels authentic rather than manufactured. It's the kind of place where you quickly settle into safari rhythms and don't want to leave.

Day 3 - 4

Because this is a water camp, the activities revolve around exploring the delta by mokoro canoe and motorboat rather than traditional game drives. You'll glide silently through narrow channels spotting red lechwe, elephants wading through the shallows, and an incredible variety of water birds. Guided walks on nearby islands add another dimension, and fishing is also available. It's an intimate, immersive way to experience the Okavango that feels both adventurous and relaxing.

Day 5 - 6

What really sets this place apart is its commitment to sustainable tourism. They've introduced electric-powered game drive vehicles and a full fleet of solar-electric safari boats, creating virtually silent safaris that dramatically enhance wildlife encounters on the famous Chobe River. It's genuinely impressive eco-innovation that doesn't compromise the guest experience one bit.

Day 7

Today your safari ends and you exit by a short drive to Kasane Airport in time for your international departures or onwards travel.
