Detailed Description

Selinda Explorers Camp sits in the Selinda Reserve between the Okavango Delta and Linyanti ecosystems, offering four simple walk-in tents designed for mobile safari charm. The unfenced camp emphasizes authentic wilderness immersion with game drives, walking safaris, and night drives through landscapes known for lions, wild dogs, and large elephant herds.

Duba Explorers Camp sits on a remote island in the Okavango Delta's northern reaches, renowned for exceptional lion and buffalo interactions. The five spacious tents overlook floodplains where predator-prey drama unfolds daily. Activities focus on game drives through this shared concession, with seasonal water-based excursions when floods arrive.

Daily Itinerary

Arrival

Arrive into Maun Airport. You'll be greeted by your lodge company and your charter services, who will transfer you by charter aircraft to Selinda Explorers

Day 1 - 3

The beauty of Selinda Explorers is that it focuses heavily on the actual safari experience rather than luxury accommodation. Walking safaris are a major highlight here, and the camp is genuinely one of the best options in Botswana if you want to explore the bush on foot with experienced guides. You can also do game drives, and when water levels allow, canoeing is available. The main area consists of two open-sided semi-permanent tents where you eat and relax, keeping everything casual and connected to the environment around you.

Day 4 - 6

With just five expedition-style tents accommodating a maximum of ten guests, Duba Explorers feels wonderfully intimate and exclusive. The camp's design deliberately echoes the romance of 1920s exploration, with vintage touches throughout, yet delivers all the modern comforts you'd expect from a luxury property. The main area sits under sweeping canvas on raised decking, featuring open-concept dining and lounge spaces, an expansive deck perfect for sundowners, and a copper fire pit where guests gather in the evenings to share stories under impossibly star-filled skies. There's even a quirky swimming pool mounted on the back of an old military vehicle.

Day 6

Today your safari ends and you exit by light aircraft to Maun in time for your international departures or onwards travel.
