Daily Itinerary

Arrival

Arrive into Maun Airport. You'll be greeted by your lodge company and your charter services, who will transfer you by charter aircraft to Camp Kalahari

Day 1 - 3

The camp itself channels that classic explorer spirit beautifully. There's a thatched lounge and dining area filled with locally crafted furniture, a library for lazy afternoons, and a covered plunge pool that's an absolute lifesaver when the Kalahari heat kicks in. What really sets the mood is the lack of electricity – everything's lit by spirit lamps and lanterns at night, creating this wonderfully atmospheric throwback to old-school safari days.

Day 4 - 6

Sable Alley sits in an absolutely prime location within the Khwai Private Reserve in the eastern part of the Okavango Delta, right on the border of Moremi Game Reserve. The camp overlooks a gorgeous lily-covered lagoon that's home to a resident pod of hippos, and it's a favorite drinking spot for elephants and buffalo who wander through daily.

Day 7 & 8

With just eight luxurious canvas tents plus a sister property Duke's East nearby with four additional tents, the camp maintains an intimate, exclusive atmosphere that's become synonymous with the Ralph Bousfield properties. The vintage 1940s aesthetic is carried throughout – from the Persian rugs and hand-carved four-poster beds to the crystal glassware and antique silverware used at meals.

Day 9

Today your safari ends and you exit by light aircraft to Maun in time for your international departures or onwards travel.
