Little Tubu represents one of the most intimate and exclusive safari experiences in the entire Okavango Delta, featuring just three traditional-style tented suites that accommodate a maximum of six to eight guests. Lions, hyenas, and occasionally cheetahs and wild dogs also frequent the area, while forested sections harbor impala, bushbuck, and more leopards. The birding is exceptional year-round, with dry-land species on the larger islands and multitudes of wetland birds on the floodplains—the area is particularly famous as one of the world's best places to spot the rare Pel's fishing owl, alongside wattled cranes, slaty egrets, rosy-throated longclaws, and African skimmers.
