Welcoming guests from 15 October 2026, Kanana Nyana is the most elevated expression of Ker & Downey Botswana, redefining contemporary safari design, with four individually styled and decorated, ultra-private thatched safari suites. A striking architectural vision coupled with an elevated location overlooking the Xudum River and floodplains, the camp embodies the balance between aesthetic beauty and practical excellence. The camp name Kanana Nyana pays homage to the Setswana word for small, celebrating the rarity of exclusivity with a maximum of eight guests.

Drawing inspiration from nature’s unending colour palette, each suite’s decor is unique, celebrating the sage green, subtle pale -yellow and dusty pink hues woven with other layered textures of this pristine wilderness.
Each thatched suites’ decor draws inspiration from the ancient forest in which it is nestled, reflecting some of the Okavango’s great trees - the Marula, Sausage, Ebony and Mokolwane Palm.
